MARY L. BYRNE  has trained Social Workers for the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families at Rhode Island College in Providence, RI.

MARY L. BYRNE presented at the RI STATE HOUSE to the full House of Representatives, in Providence, RI, on Early Intervention for Childhood Victims of Sexual Molestation.

MARY L. BYRNE is the author a children's book titled, "Only Children Hear Me", and its accompanying teaching manual.

MARY L. BYRNE is the author of a report  on "The Many Faces of Child Abuse".

MARY L. BYRNE presented as opening speaker for Linda Fairstein, former Chief of the Sex Crimes Unit of the District Attorney's Office in Manhattan for more than two decades, America's foremost legal expert on sexual assault and domestic violence, at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI, sponsored by Day One. 

 
STATE OF RHODE ISLAND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMISSION APPOINTMENT:
JANE E. JOHNSON was appointed by the State of Rhode Island Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nicholas Mattiello to a Special House Commission to Study the Issue of Sexual Assault on College Campus in the State of Rhode Island (2015-2016). Jane testified in front of the full Commission in October, 2015 sharing her sexual assault experience. The Providence Journal Bulletin reported on her testimony.

JANE E. JOHNSON

JANE E. JOHNSON was a luncheon speaker at a conference on "Managing Sex Offenders in the Digital Age" in Warwick, RI (10-11). This conference was sponsored by the Rhode Island Department of  Corrections, and DAY ONE in Providence, RI. and was attended by over 300 people. 

JANE E. JOHNSON spoke at the Rhode Island State House in 2011 with Governor Lincoln Chafee, Attorney General Peter Kilmartin, and US District Attorney, Peter Neronha at a program to acknowledge National Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

WOMAN & INFANTS HOSPITAL, PROVIDENCE, RI:
JANE E. JOHNSON
has lectured to nurses who were receiving training for SANE certification (Sexual Assault Nurses Exam). 

PASCO TROIA spoke at the Rhode Island State House in 2012 with Governor Lincoln Chafee and other dignitaries at a program to acknowledge National Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

PASCO TROIA worked directly with incarcerated sex offenders at the Adult Correctional Institution (ACI) in Cranston, RI joining them in their educational/counseling groups.

PASCO TROIA is the author of a book titled "Behind the Altar" which is in the publishing phase.
   
Developed a workshop, "Survivors Speak about the Impact of Victimization at Work" for a conference sponsored by DAY ONE, Providence, RI.

MARY L. BRYNE and JANE E. JOHNSON were also panel participants (2015).
 
JANE E. JOHNSON and PASCO TROIA  are authors of essays' in a book titled, "The Survivors Project - Telling the Truth about Sexual Abuse" (2013).

MARY L. BYRNE and JANE E. JOHNSON developed a curriculum and taught classes to incarcerated sex offenders on "INTENSIVE VICTIM IMPACT" at the Adult Correctional Institution (ACI) in Cranston, RI.  Sex offenders and survivors (Byrne& Johnson) came face to face inside the prison block holding offenders accountable for their actions. This course provided the offenders to see first hand how victims are impacted by sex crimes. 

MARY L. BYRNE and JANE E. JOHNSON  have been interviewed on television, newspapers and on the radio discussing various topics related to sexual assault, child molestation.

MARY L. BYRNE and JANE E. JOHNSON are founding members and co-chairs of ONE VOICE survivors advocacy group at Day One, Providence RI since 7-10.​.
